Class Placement Policies
Kindergarten and First Grade
To be eligible for kindergarten, children must turn 5 years old by the enrollment cutoff date.
For Grade 1, children must turn 6 years old by the enrollment cutoff date.
No formal placement assessment is required.
Grade 2 and Above
All applicants for Grade 2 and beyond are required to complete a placement test.
Final grade assignments are determined by a holistic review of the student’s age, language proficiency, and classroom capacity.
Our goal is to ensure all students are placed in a supportive environment that matches their developmental and academic needs.
Accelerated Placement
Skip-grade assessments are available once a year during the registration period for current students who wish to advance to a grade level aligned with their proficiency.
Students intending to take the skip-grade test must submit in advance a formal letter of recommendation from their current teacher attesting to their academic readiness and proficiency.
Tuition and Refund Schedule
Tuition rates and supplementary class fees are reviewed annually and subject to adjustment.
The most current information regarding tuition, class fees and refund schedule is detailed in the Application Forms, which are available during the Open Enrollment Period.
